Out of the Box

Resident Artist Jennifer Weigel recently completed a remarkable 17 days and more than 70 hours in a dog crate as part of a performance art piece entitled "Bitch". Her visual commentary on the unneccessay and cruel treatment of dogs in puppy mills was powerful and thoroughly documented by the artist on her blog. To read her thoughts not only on the art piece itself, but on her experience of coming out of the cage, view her blog here.
