Murals created at Baue Funeral Homes by Nancy Young

Resident Artist Nancy Young contributed to the decor of two of the Baue Funeral Homes in our area.


This underwater mural was painted in the Baue Funeral and Memorial Gardens in St. Peters, MO. This large mural covers four walls in the children's lounge.

This mural featuring a gorgeous peacock is in the children's lounge at the Baue Funeral home on Jefferson Street in St. Charles. This entire mural is about 12 feet wide and was part of an extensive remodeling project led by interior designer Cindy Flowers. Congratulations Nancy on your beautiful murals! Hopefully they will bring joy into the lives of the children who view them during their visit to the Baue Funeral Homes.

Serena Boschert Judges Open Art Competition

Resident Artist Serena Boschert served as judge for the 2008 4-H County Fair Open Art Competition in Wentzville, MO last month. This was a compeititon open to the public, one that encourages art in the community and displays it at a large event in the county, with thousands of visitors every year. Thanks to Serena for her contributions as an artist in our community!

Shirley Nachtrieb's work to be published in new book.

Shirley Nachtrieb’s artwork is represented in Nita Leland’s new book, Confident Color: An Artist’s Guide to Harmony, Contrast and Unity. It is scheduled to be available in the book stores in late August, 2008. The publisher is North Light Books and they will feature the book as their Main Selection on September 2008.
